Tighten the screw so that the drum expands and holds the tape/paper.
Usually you can just twist the drum and it will grip the screw.
Avoid over tightening. Over tighening will expand the drum too much, possibly crinkling or tearing the paper/tape.
Roll the drum along your hand to ensure that the sandpaper has completely and smoothly adhered to the tape.
